For over 36 years, Water 4 Kids International has been bringing hope to children around the world that have been affected by extreme poverty and preventable and treatable diseases. Water 4 Kids International is responding to this need by drilling deep wells in remote villages. They strategically dig wells in communities that are close to primary schools, medical clinics and trading centers.
More than 300 million, nearly half of the people living in Africa, do not have access to clean water. Mainly women and children spend hours each day walking miles to collect water from unprotected sources including open ponds, livestock water points and polluted ditches.
Dysentery, following Malaria and Measles is the #3 killer in East Africa. Lack of safe water is responsible for up to 75% of deaths in remote villages. Water 4 Kids International provides hope to these kids by providing fresh safe drinkable water – one village at a time. www.w4ki.org
